This new venture and gathering place at a somewhat historic intersection in this small eastern Iowa town was borne out of Inspiration. It is now home to DeWitt’s newest place to shop and dine in the lower level Garden Café.
THE CROSSROADS Inspired Living & Garden Café is still at the heart of DeWitt’s Downtown District. Across the street in the park is the rebuilt Hausbarn from Niebuell, Germany – housing the German Heritage Museum and The DeWitt Chamber & Development Company (DCDC) offices. Contact the DCDC at 563-659-8500 for more information on self-guided museum tours OR for questions regarding accommodations for larger groups.
THE CROSSROADS Inspired Living & Garden Café is located at 602 10th Street.

Welcome to “The Garden Café” . We are very excited about our new adventure and look forward to serving our friends, family and visitors here in DeWitt. Our hometown café is a reflection of our rich Midwestern agricultural heritage.
Our menus have always relied on what is fresh and ready to harvest. This seasonal approach is what the “Garden Café” will be based upon.

What we long for is a sustaining spiritual practice that will connect us to our deepest selves and to God. Centering Prayer is a silent prayer practice based on ancient Christian Monastic Wisdom. It is both easy to learn and limitless in it power for inner transformation and healing…”
